The Navia Theater is located in Oviedo, the capital of the province of the same name in Spain, situated on a fertile plain encircled by mountains. Founded in 757 AD and serving as the capital of the Kingdom of Asturias in 810 AD, Oviedo is a cultural hub of northern Spain. The theater features a double-height design (14 meters) and a total usable area of over 2,000 square meters; the stage area spans approximately 200 square meters, while the auditorium accommodates an audience of around 450.
Leveraging Oviedo’s rich cultural character, the Navia Theater was designed as an imaginative, versatile performance space. It not only fulfills the functions of a traditional theater for music, dance, and drama but also meets the requirements for television recordings, annual corporate galas, and award ceremonies. Ultimately, it has become a stylish, multi-functional urban venue serving as a professional performance space, a creative wedding venue, and a site for business launches.
The theater’s audio setup utilizes ten TSA STAR series AX-110 units—cost-effective, 10-inch, two-way active speakers—for the main PA system, complemented by two additional AX-110 units for side-fill. Low-end reinforcement is provided by the compact, high-SPL SUB-15F (single 15-inch subwoofer), while stage monitoring is handled by the highly cost-effective P-115 (single 15-inch monitor), together delivering top-tier sound quality to support Oviedo’s cultural development.
